Campaign Send Management
Email Marketing Campaign Send Management Services
You have a list of subscribers ready to receive your newsletters, the design is complete and the copy has been carefully crafted. It's now time to send your email newsletter!
Sending An Email Newsletter
There are three ways a newsletter may be sent:
- Manual send by a Campaign Manager.
- An Autoresponder may be due to send.
- It may be triggered after being sent to go on a certain date.
While all three methods require attention from your Campaign Manager, only the manual send will be monitored in real-time.
Real-time Send Monitoring
Once your campaign manager sends your newsletter there is very little that can go wrong. Just in case however, we will monitor the sending of your newsletter where practicable (autoresponders for example can't be monitored in real-time since they send themselves).
We check our system regularly throughout the day so even if we can't monitor some sends in real-time, we will discover any other problems very quickly.
What We Need To Watch
What we look out for in particular during a send is your campaign being stopped unexpectedly. While very rare, the main reason we see this is because your subscriber list is very old or full of non-existant email addresses.
If more than 15% of your list bounces back your campaign will automatically be stopped. This is to prevent our servers from being blacklisted because we will appear to be sending SPAM.
The best way to avoid a stale subscriber list is to send newsletters regularly. This allows our software to remove dead email addresses frequently and it also gives your subscribers the chance to update their details or unsubscribe if they no longer want to receive your newsletter.
